Peppina, an Italian limited edition wine, is crafted by a passionate Tuscan farmer who takes delight in her harvest and creates wine for intimate gatherings with friends and family. This wine embodies a spirit of rebellion, fearlessly pushing the boundaries of tradition and venturing into uncharted territories.

Approach. Outcome

It was one of the most challenging projects for me and took slightly more time than expected. The client lacked a clear vision of the desired design and showed uncertainty when reviewing references. To pinpoint her taste and vision, we conducted a preference test. To enhance her understanding of design, I provided her with various exercises and tasks, intending to bridge the gaps and help her visualize her preferred design. Throughout the process, I kept reassuring my client, comparing my role to that of a doctor diagnosing a disease to provide the right prescription. Eventually, I drew inspiration from the client herself, firmly believing that every brand is a reflection of its founder's character and nature. Thus, I aligned the direction of the design with the essence of Peppina. The wine now mirrors its owner's personality, akin to the biblical concept of creating something in one's own image and likeness. The packaging breaks away from the conventional "wine" label; instead, it exudes modernity, vibrancy, and creativity. Embracing the rebellious spirit, I deliberately avoided typical embossed etiquettes. The blurry icons represent the state of drunkenness, while the small star symbolizes a spark of wine, elegantly incorporated into the font for personalization. Overall, the outcome is a daring and unique representation of the brand, encapsulating Peppina's distinctive essence.
